AppGuard Solo supports Microsoft Windows 7 and above.
AppGuard Solo applies multiple layers of protection:
Zero-day defense: Prevents unknown and file-less malware.
Guarded Execution: Blocks risky behaviors from applications.
MemoryGuard: Prevents one process from reading or writing into another process’s memory.
InstallGuard: Prevents unauthorized software installations.
Privacy Mode: Protects private folders from browser access.
Protected: Default level where all trusted applications are protected.
Allow Installs: Temporarily reduce protection for software installations or updates.
Off: Disables protection for a set period (default is 20 minutes).
Yes, AppGuard Solo can be configured to check for updates automatically. You can enable automatic updates via the AppGuard Solo Updates settings.
You can modify protection policies in the Customize section:
Add or remove applications from the Guarded Apps list.
Adjust alert settings, user space exclusions, and publishers.
Change advanced settings such as suspension timeout and self-protection.
AppGuard Solo allows you to customize alerts for:
Blocked launches
Guarded execution events
MemoryGuard actions
Privacy events
You can enable or disable specific alerts in the Alerts Tab.
The Guarded Apps list includes applications that AppGuard protects. These apps are restricted from performing high-risk actions, preventing potential malware exploitation.
To whitelist an application from User Space, add it to the User Space Exclusions list in the User Space Tab and set the inclusion column to “No.”
